Delete your MoodMirror account

You can permanently delete your MoodMirror account and all associated data at any time. Deletion is final — we do not soft-delete or archive a copy.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (recommended)

Open the MoodMirror app and sign in.
Tap your profile / open Settings.
Scroll to Danger zone.
Tap Delete account and confirm twice.

Once you confirm, your account and data are erased immediately. You will be signed out automatically.

Option 2 — Email request (if you no longer have the app)

If you have already uninstalled MoodMirror or cannot sign in, email us from the address tied to your account:

support@moodmirror.io

Subject line: Delete my account
Send from the email address registered with your MoodMirror account so we can verify ownership.
We process email-requested deletions within 30 days, usually sooner.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, the following is permanently removed from our servers:

Journal entries and titles
Tags, moods, and energy ratings
AI reflections and pattern notes
Photos attached to entries
Voice notes attached to entries
Weekly reports and Wrapped summaries
Profile, preferences, and streak data
Account credentials (email / Apple ID / Google ID link)

Anonymous, aggregated analytics (counts, app version, crash reports) that cannot be tied back to your identity are retained for product reliability.

Your rights

MoodMirror complies with the GDPR right to erasure (Article 17) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) right to delete. If you have any questions about your data or this process, contact support@moodmirror.io.
